I though it would be good to have a thread about the different brands and models of car batteries available in Kenya so that we can discuss quality and service. To be edited periodically to add more as they become available.

I saw on some facebook page someone complaining about the poor quality of Chloride Exide bateries. How good or bad are they?

I saw on some facebook page someone complaining about the poor quality of Chloride Exide bateries. How good or bad are they?

I saw the same thread earlier today. In my opinion the quality of Chloride has gone down compared to pre 2010 era. The issue could also be when most clients moved to maintainance free batteries. There are several new battery brands but they still have mixed reviews as they don't have the same track record of many years and also a smaller number of people using them.
