Roland the Mechanic
This diagram is a must have when doing circuit tracing, signal path verification and terminal testing for the EFI engine coolant temperature sensor connector D2. It gives you the wire connections and pin assignments required to measure thermistor resistance values and reference voltages for the ECM. Attempting to troubleshoot cooling fan anomalies, fuel delivery issues and temperature gauge faults without OEM procedures can easily damage healthy sensors and thermal components.
Common questions that this diagram answers
- What is the pinout chart for the Toyota Harrier ASU60/ASU65 coolant temperature sensor D21 connector?
- How do I test the 5V reference circuit at the E.F.I. water temperature sensor on an ASU60/ASU65 ?
- What are the wire colours for the engine coolant temperature sensor on a Toyota Harrier 8AR-FTS?
- How do you isolate a wiring fault from a failing thermistor sensor when diagnosing radiator fan control issues for the Harrier ASU60/ASU65?
