This pinout is used for essential terminal level testing, power and ground verification and signal line analysis on the electric power steering module. It gives pinout mapping for connectors o1 and o3, which enables you to verify high current battery feeds, heavy gauge chassis grounds, torque sensor inputs and multiplex communication bus lines. Probing electric power steering (EPS) controller plugs without factory terminal data poses a great risk of shorting motor circuits which can cause permanent EPS ECU damage.
